INFRASTRUCTURE-SPORTS

For students, taking part in sports at university is a great way to keep fit, make friends and unwind after the studies. REVA has outdoor and indoor sports facilities including Gymnasium, Badminton, Table Tennis, Volley ball, Basket ball and Cricket stadium. The state-of-art sports complex with badminton courts, table tennis board, carom boards, chess boards, will induce in students to join friends and enjoy the play. The multi-gym station helps them to do exercise of their interest and keep themselves fit and healthy for studies. The outdoor stadium of International standard with 400 meters athletic track, basket ball courts, volley ball court, tennis court, football ground and cricket ground attract students to spend morning and evening hours with variety of sports activities.  

REVA group of institutions are always enthusiastic in organizing inter-collegiate, inter-university, state and national level competitions. Seniors have participated in several such inter-university, state and national events and have won several medals and prizes including silver and gold medals and thereby have brought laurels to the REVA group of institutions.
REVA also has a Sports Academy headed by the Director of Department of Physical Education. The Academy conducts regular coaching for students. Students will enjoy week end coaching classes and summer special coaching camps. The REVA has instituted various medals, prizes and scholarships for sports achievers to promote sportsmanship among REVA students. It also has instituted Rukmini Memorial award for overall excellence in sports events which is awarded every year.
